PURPOSE: A copper alloy with improved strength and electrical conductivity, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve intensity and softening resistance by making the thermal stability of metastable precipitates. CONSTITUTION: A copper alloy comprises a cast iron or a pig iron made of copper and iron carbon. The iron c 2.5-4.0 weight%, phosphorus 0.1 weight%, and carbon 0.02-0.5 weight% are included. The remainder of the copper alloy is copper. The copper alloy has the mean diameter less than 70μm. The copper alloy has the tensile strength of 483-608MPa. The copper alloy has the conductivity less than 64.7% IACS. |
