PURPOSE: An in-phase friction welding method and a device which identifies the attachment direction of adhering matter are provided to efficiently perform friction welding by fitting the directions of the members attached to both side of a material. CONSTITUTION: A base material(10) is loosely fixed on the center of a friction welding device. A member(11) is installed on a chuck and a secondary chuck which installed on both side of the base material. The member installed at the chuck or the secondary chuck is pushed in order to contact the base material to the base member.
