<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drivingly control a motor by selecting a commanded motor revolution speed and a commanded torque. <P>SOLUTION: A controller selectively executes speed control based on the commanded motor revolution speed and torque control based on the commanded torque. In the case of motor driving at a fixed revolution speed, a first torque current is calculated based on an input commanded motor revolution speed control and the driving control is performed in accordance with the first calculated torque current.
