<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address input method that improves the operability of addressing operations. SOLUTION: When the address input method enters an address that is a combination of a street number data containing numbers and place name data including characters, it is an area-extracting unit 50 that retrieves the place name data that partially matches the entered data and the street number by using a fixed retrieved data stored in a geographical buffer 10 on the basis of the entered data at each time, if the street number and the place name are sequentially entered, as well as dynamically extracts an area of the street number data corresponding with the retrieved street number data. A display unit 6 displays the area of street number data extracted by the area-extracting unit 50 on its screen by updating sequentially.</p> |
