Invention relates to a method of isolation of virus-like particles (VLP) from recombinant E. coli cells. The virus-like particles consist of envelope protein of RNA bacteriophage GA and a protein terminally extended by N-terminal fragment of stromal factor SDF-1. The method provided comprises fractioning of lysate of E. coli cells on two sequential Sepharose 2B columns using 0.02M Tris-HCl buffer, pH 7.8, 0.005M EDTA, 0.95M NaCl. Additional purification and sedimentation of low soluble GA VLP-47 was performed between the two fractioning steps by dialysis against water. VLPs obtained may be used in research and for packaging and transportation of medicinal substances. |
