The box (1) has a body (2) i.e. casting, presenting first interface (21) fixing a turbocompressor. Second interface (22) fixes another turbocompressor. Third interface (23) fixes an exhaust manifold. The body presents first and second pipes (24, 25) emerging on a level of the first and second interfaces, respectively. An inlet (29) is arranged on a level of the third interface. The body comprises third pipe (26) connecting the inlet to the first and second pipes. The box includes a valve (53) sealing the flow through the second pipe. An independent claim is also included for a thermal engine comprising a supercharging system.
