<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of suppressing complicated operation of a side support part on a linear road without giving uncomfortable feeling to a sitting person and enhancing responsiveness of operation of the side support part on a curved road. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that an obtaining value regarding determination when a support amount of the side support part is increased exceeds a previously set reference value, ECU 20 drives the side support part so as to increase the support amount. A car navigation system 21 obtains the curved road positioned in an advancement direction of the vehicle and a curve starting position of the curved road based on the present position of the vehicle, an advancement direction and electronic map data. The ECU 20 sets a predetermined range along the advancement direction of the vehicle including the curve starting position to a curve starting position area, and the reference value is switched such that the reference value becomes smaller when the present position of the vehicle is included in the curve starting position area as compared with the time when it is not included in the curve starting position area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
