<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network relay device, a network connection confirmation method, and a network which are capable of reducing the load of processing of connection confirmation information. <P>SOLUTION: A network relay device 1 receives connection confirmation information indicative of being in communication connection with an external network relay device, from the outside.
