A drum type washing machine is provided to reduce the drying time of laundry articles by increasing the amount of air introduced into a washing chamber. A drum type washing machine includes an outer housing(10), a tub(20), a drum(30), and a duct(40). A door(50) is installed in the outer housing. The tub is installed in the interior of the outer housing. The drum is rotatably installed in the interior of the tub and has a washing chamber. The duct guides the circulating air into the washing chamber. A door interior passage(55) connected to the duct to guide the air circulating along the duct into the washing chamber is provided in the door. |
