<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable hydraulic system improving the reliability in relief pressure switching operation in a relief valve in the variable hydraulic system including the relief valve changed in relief pressure by switching the oil pressure applying mode of a back pressure chamber by a selector valve. <P>SOLUTION: The variable hydraulic system changes the relief pressure of the relief valve 20 through the displacement of a sleeve 26 corresponding to the oil pressure by switching a communication destination of the back pressure chamber 35 by the selector valve 40 to change the oil pressure in the back pressure chamber 35.
