PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water remover for an umbrella, smoothly taking out an umbrella and suppressing scattering of water droplets to the outside. SOLUTION: This water remover for the umbrella 1 for removing the water droplets attached to a canopy 20e, has: a box body 2 receiving the umbrella 20 inserted to an opening part 11 form its ferrule 20c side, from the ferrule to ends of tips 20f, a first air jetting part 7 disposed in the box body, jetting the air from the ferrule side approximately in the parallel direction to a shank 20a of the umbrella, generating the airflow directing to the tip side from the ferrule side and removing the water droplets attached to the canopy; and a second air jetting part 8 disposed in the box body, jetting the air toward the shank, and closing the canopy and ribs of the umbrella in the shank direction.
