<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle communication system which can suppress an outbreak of the situation in that vehicles over the number of containable vehicles exist in a communicable network even if the surrounding other vehicles increase, and can secure communication with the other vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined to be in a vehicle line, in the case where the other vehicles over a threshold number exist in virtual areas (103 and 104) in front and rear of the own vehicle, control is made to lower communication intensity down to a level which can secure the communication with the other vehicle farthest inside the virtual area concerned. Even if the own vehicle enters the vehicle line and the surrounding other vehicles increase, since a sending range is reduced, and the number of vehicles entering the range is decreased, it is possible to suppress an outbreak of the situation in that the vehicles over the number of containable vehicles exist in a network, which can evade a radio communication collision. Moreover, if the communication intensity is lowered, as keeping a sending output which can secure the communication with the farthest other vehicle entering the virtual area, it is not that inability to communicate with the other vehicles does not allow to carry out service support for the vehicles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
