<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting tool for work that can be freely attachably/detachably fixed to an aerial cable, or a rod-like member and allows the adjustment of an illumination irradiation direction. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting tool 10 includes an openable/closable clamp 1, an arm 2, and an illuminating lamp 3. The clamp 1 holds an aerial cable 1w or a rod-like member. The arm 2 is coupled to an opening/closing shaft of the clamp 1 and has a set of freely-bendable joints 21, 22. The illuminating lamp 3 is fixed to the tip of the arm 2. The clamp 1 has a pair of curved arms 11, 12 and a pair of ring springs 13. The pair of curved arms 11, 12 is configured, such that their base ends are coupled to each other by the opening/closing shaft 1a so as to allow opening/closing of its each tip.
