<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect incorrect colorimetric values out of colorimetric values of a correction patch and correct them to correct colorimetric values, when performing multi-color calibration by outputting the correction patch and measuring colors. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer that outputs a correction patch and performs multi-color calibration, incorrect colorimetric values in the correction patch are detected, based on the colorimetric values of the correction patch measured by a color sensor and device values of the printer.
