PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water surface induction type dust removing apparatus removing suspended matter such as dirt and hair floating on the water surface of a bathtub in an ordinary home, and usable only by making it float on bathtub water while being lightweight and small with no danger of an electric shock without using an external power source. SOLUTION: A waterproof battery box 2 for storing a rechargeable battery, and a water detecting switch 4 are provided at the lower part of a float 1, and an electric submerged pump 5 is provided at the lower part of the waterproof battery box 2. A water discharge nozzle 6 of the submerged pump is inclined and provided in a position where a water column 11 can be formed, without projecting from the water surface 13. The tip of the water discharge nozzle 6 is formed to be parallel with the water surface 13, and a retractable filer 7 is provided at the upper part of the float 1. The filter 7 is installed on an extension line of the inclined water discharge nozzle 6, and an inclination 8 and a water passage for water having passed through the filter 7 to flow in an opposite direction to the water discharge nozzle 6 side. A water passage 9 is further provided in a side face direction to form a structure for preventing water from flowing out toward the water discharge nozzle 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
