<p>A paint booth (10) is provided with a purification device (12). The purification device (12) comprises a water tank (20), a pump (21), a water rope formation mechanism (22), a sludge removing mechanism (26), an exhaust mechanism (28), and a barrier member (70). The water rope formation mechanism (22) has a water case (40) arranged at an upper part of a paint chamber (11). A large number of nozzles (50) are formed in the bottom wall (45) of the water case (40). Each nozzle (50) has a tubular section (56) the inside diameter of which decreases gradually downward from the inlet (55), and a circular outlet (57). A large number of water ropes (60) which are parallel with each other are formed of the water falling linearly from the outlet (57). Paint mist is collected when the air containing the paint mist touches the water rope (60). An exhaust chamber (71) is formed on the back side of the barrier member (70).</p> |
