<p>Provided is a digital camera which displays photographing information for photographing composition desired by a user by indicating the composition. Specifically provided is a digital camera provided with an image pickup unit for forming an image of light flux from an image pickup optical system, converting the image into an image signal, and outputting the image signal as image data, a display unit for displaying the image data, an information acquisition unit for acquiring the image data outputted by the image pickup unit, an indication acceptance unit for accepting an indication of composition from a user, and an indication information unit for indicating information relating to photographable composition, wherein when the indication of the composition is given to the indication acceptance unit, the indication information unit displays, on the display unit, information indicating whether or not image data corresponding to the indicated composition can be photographed by the image pickup optical system, on the basis of the acquired image data.</p> |
