<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that detecting sensitivity when a capacitance type touch panel device is touched by the finger or the like is deteriorated due to the largely scaling of the panel size, and that any stable detecting operation is not attainable. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitance type touch panel device includes: a plurality of detecting period setting means 18 to 20; and an electrode range setting means 21, and detects a touch input by setting the detection periods of electrodes 3 and 4 within a distance range predetermined with the electrodes 3 and 4 which have detected the touch input as a reference larger than the detection period before the touch input is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
