PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ballasted fluorescent lamp which, by making transmittance of fluorescence of a heat conductive part approximate to the transmittance of a diffusion film of an outer tube bulb, prevents a color rendering property form being reduced by dispersing light emission from a lamp by a lens effect, emits uniform diffused light from the entire outer tube bulb, and has superior thermal conductivity and longer operating lifetime. SOLUTION: The self-ballasted fluorescent lamp includes a light-emitting tube which emits the fluorescence; the outer tube bulb which is so provided as to enclose the light-emitting tube and has the diffusion film to diffuse the fluorescence on an inner wall surface; and the heat conducting part which conducts heat in the light-emitting tube to the outer tube bulb. The heat conducting part contains a binder resin and a translucent power body having a refractive index different from that of the binder resin, and the transmittance to the fluorescence approximates that of the diffusion film.
