The drive has two rotating drive disks (6) with a central opening, where a steam flow is guided from the internal radius to the external radius between the rotating drive disks by the central opening or a nozzle (2) at the internal radius. A steam flow discharge opening lies in proximity of the external radius of the drive disks. Condensed work fluid (9) is collected at the discharge opening and returned into an evaporation chamber (8). The drive disks and the work fluid are cooled by a rotary heat exchanger (5). An idler is provided for returning the steam flow.
