PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a material in a kneading container to be directly irradiated with an electromagnetic wave through a window plate by installing the heat-resistant and pressure-resistant window plate on the kneading container. SOLUTION: A kneading machine includes: the kneading container (2); the heat-resistant and pressure-resistant window plate (3) which is installed in the kneading container (2), and through which the electromagnetic wave permeates; a wave-guiding pipe (4) for connection which is connected with the heat-resistant and pressure-resistant window plate (3); and an oscillator (8) which generates an electromagnetic wave of a UHF zone or an SHF zone. In the kneading machine, the electromagnetic wave which is generated by the oscillator (8) is cast from the wave-guiding pipe (4) for connection into the kneading container (2) through the heat-resistant and pressure-resistant window plate (3), and the material to-be-kneaded in the kneading container is heated with the electromagnetic wave. Then, a matching unit (5) is installed between the wave-guiding pipe (4) for connection and the oscillator (8) to enable the impedance matching to be regulated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
