PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a powder having a high content of lactosucrose crystal, which shows a low caking tendency, even when stored under a relatively high-temperature high-moisture condition for a relatively long period of time and is excellent in flowability, handleability and storage stability; a method for producing the same; an application thereof; and a method for inhibiting caking of the lactosucrose crystal.

SOLUTION: The powder having a high content of lactosucrose crystal and showing reduced caking tendency is obtained by making a lactose crystal coexist with the lactosucrose crystal in a prescribed proportion. The method for producing the same, the application thereof and the method for inhibiting caking of the lactosucrose crystal are also provided.
