PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate supply device which does not need a special drive means for separation. SOLUTION: A printer includes a cam 101 movable between a support position for supporting a lowermost plate among a plate group P in which plates are stacked and a retreated position retreated from the lowermost plate, a cam 102 movable between a support position for supporting a second plate from the lower side and a retreat position retreated from the second plate at a timing different from that of the cam 101, a conveying tray 10 which has a loading part on which plates are placed at a predetermined set position when the cam 101 is positioned at the retreated position and is movable between the set position and the discharging position, a shaft 106 to which a gear 104a for moving the conveying tray 10 is fitted, and a connection mechanism for connecting the drive force of the shaft 106 to the cams 101, 102.
