PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing with a seal preventing the intrusion of foreign matter into the bearing and stably reducing a seal torque without being influenced by lubricating oil and the state of a seal sliding surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of rolling elements 3 are interposed between the raceway surfaces 1a, 2a of inner and outer rings 1, 2, and a cage 4 is provided for holding these rolling elements 3. Both ends of a bearing space are sealed with seal members 5. The seal member 5 is a contact seal with its base end fixed to the outer ring 2, for instance, and with a seal lip 15 abutting on the inner ring 1. At least the tip of the seal lip 15 is formed of a high wear material that wears to result in non-contact or light contact to the extent of a contact pressure considered to be zero using the bearing in the rotating state.
