<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seamless belt for printing beautiful (uniform) images without selecting paper concerning the seamless belt suitable for fixing, photoreceptor substrate, intermediate transfer, paper conveying, transfer fixing or the like in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, and to provide a method for manufacturing the seamless belt. <P>SOLUTION: The seamless belt 100 includes an inner layer 1 including a polyimide resin, and an outer layer 2 including an elastomer. The method for manufacturing the seamless belt includes: a process (I) for deploying polyamic acid solution in the inner face of a cylindrical mold, and molding the inner layer 1 by heating and rotating the mold; and a process (II) for forming the outer layer 2 by deploying elastomer solution on the outer surface of the inner layer 1 obtained in the process (I). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
