<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite polarizing plate that is arranged on the viewer side of a display element and has a birefringent layer on the viewer side thereof and that provides a display apparatus which causes a viewer to hardly recognize uneven color or irregular luminance, when viewing a screen with polarized glasses worn, even when the display apparatus is left standing at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The composite polarizing plate is formed, by layering a polarizer 1, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 and the birefringent layer 6, in this order, on a separator. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is composed of a pressure-sensitive adhesive exhibiting 0.2-3 MPa storage modulus at 80°C. The composite polarizing plate is arranged on the viewer side of the display element so that the polarizer 1 is on the display element side, and the birefringent layer 6 is on the viewer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
