PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing apparatus that facilitates eliminating various reflections of external information when imaging a glossy object. SOLUTION: The image capturing apparatus E1 has a subject support board 1, a camera module 3, a memory 4, an image analysis processing unit 5 and a hinge 8. The subject support board 1 supports a subject S, and the camera module 3 images the subject. The hinge 8 rotates the camera module 3 and the subject support board 1 while fixing a positional relationship between the camera module 3 and the subject support board 1 as they are. The memory 4 stores an image acquired by the camera module 3 before and after being rotated by the hinge 8. The image analysis processing 5 eliminates or reduces external information reflected by being overlapped on the subject S due to the glossiness of the subject S to form a combined image by analyzing and combining images before and after the rotation stored in the memory 4.
