The bushing (1.2) has a metal pin (4.2) placed in a circular through-hole (11.2) in a base body (3.2) in a glass stopper (6.2). A unit placed between rear and front sides (12.2, 13.2) of the body avoids a relative movement of fixing material in a direction opposite to an inner circumference of the through-hole. The unit provides a non-positive connection and/or a positive connection between the stopper and the body under a tension effect and/or pressure on the stopper. A cross-section of the through-hole is narrowed from the front side toward the rear side. The pin is fused with the stopper. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a base body of a metal bushing.
