A ducting housing unit comprises an inner housing 50 located adjacent a polygonal heat exchanger 48 and an outer housing 52 spaced from the heat exchanger by the inner housing and defines an outlet duct (74, 76, fig 3) leading to an outlet port (82, fig 7), the inner and outer housings being separate components that abut against one another. The heat exchanger may be hexagonal. A planar surface of the inner and outer housing abuts each other and both housings form the duct communicating to the outlet port. The inner housing comprises a scroll chamber (72) for a fan (46, fig 8) and is provided with a recess (125, fig 17A) for sealing with an edge (720, fig 1) of the heat exchanger. The inner and outer housing may be made from EPP. The housing unit may be part of a heat exchanger ventilation unit, which comprises an outer enclosure containing the heat exchanger and ducting housing unit. Two identical ducting housing units may be located on opposite sides of the heat exchanger. |
