The ground conveyor comprises two cladding units (16,18) that are mounted on a vehicle frame in a detaching manner. Both the adjacent cladding units are connected with each other along their edge sides in a detaching manner. One cladding unit has a plug projection on its edge side pointing towards another cladding unit which has a receiver for the plug projection on its edge side pointing towards the former cladding unit.
