PURPOSE: A composition for repelling algae and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maintain algae-repelling smell and to prevent leakage damage. CONSTITUTION: A composition for repelling algae contains 100 weight% of main material of particle size is 0.5-5.0 mm, 20-50 weight% of sub-material, and 0.02-5.0 weight% of absorbing agent. The composition further comprises a first coating layer which is coated on the outer wall of a solid phase and a second coating layer which is coated on the surface of the first coating layer. The main material is zeolite, carbon, activated charcoal, silica gel, porous silica. The first and second coating layers are acrylic emulsion, acryl resin, epoxy resin, urethane resin or UV curing resin. The absorbing agent is benzophenone group or benzotriazole group. |
