PURPOSE: A frequency hopping signal collection apparatus and a method thereof using azimuth angle information for reducing the storage of a reception signal are provided to extract the frequency signal by using azimuth angle information. CONSTITUTION: A broadband azimuth estimating unit(120) calculates the azimuth of the received broadband frequency hopping signal. The broadband azimuth estimating unit selects the azimuth received from a signal collection controller. The broadband azimuth estimating unit maps the selected azimuth to a narrowband channel. A narrowband signal conversion unit(130) converts the received broadband frequency hopping signal to the narrowband signal. A signal collection unit(140) stores the converted narrowband signal as described above. |
