Method for recognising cell tissue with tumours

The method involves emitting electromagnetic radiation on a cell tissue sample. Fade characteristics of auto-fluorescence intensity of a cell tissue are detected by using a detector in a time and spectral-resolved manner. A difference-autocorrelation-function of the characteristics is determined by using the detected intensity values, and fractional dimension for the tissue is calculated from the function. A value of the dimension is compared with a tumor-specific reference value, and the tissue is classified as tumor-afflicted cell tissue during exceeding of the reference value.
