<p>It is intended to provide a method of efficiently growing or breeding fish which comprises, in a method of inducing the differentiation of an isolated primordial genital cell into a genital cell line by transplanting the isolated primordial genital cell originating in a donor fish into an early embryo of a heterogeneic recipient fish, a donor-origin ovum and/or sperm are specifically formed without forming a recipient-origin ovum and/or sperm. In a method of inducing the differentiation of an isolated primordial genital cell into a genital cell line by transplanting the isolated primordial genital cell originating in a donor fish into an early embryo of a heterogeneic recipient fish, a triploid fish differing from the donor is employed as the recipient fish so that a donor-origin ovum and/or sperm are specifically formed without forming a recipient-origin ovum and/or sperm.</p> |
