PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling stage effects based on a location of a performer are provided to drastically reduce restrictions of stage effect expression by setup of a complicated queue. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling stage effects based on a location of a performer tracks a location of a performer and controls stage effects based on information about the location. At least one area is defined on a stage. When a performer enters a specific area, stage effects are expressed using an automatic queue using a queue signal. When a specific area and a performer on a stage are located in a corresponding area, a data structure of a table shape is used to correspond to stage effects. A direction of moving light(202) is automatically controlled by obtaining pan and tilt values of moving light by converting location information of a performer.
