PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space on a top face side, in an indoor unit for an air conditioner having a function to remove dust collected in filters from the filters when the filters for collecting dust included in air sucked from a suction port are moved from a normal position opposing to the suction port to a retract position. SOLUTION: The indoor unit 2 includes rollers 52a, 52b and a guide member 17. The rollers 52a, 52a move the filters 35a, 35b from the normal position P to the retract position Q. The guide member 17 guides the filters so that the filters 35a, 35b located in the normal position P are bent along the outer peripheries of the rollers 52a, 52b, then bent in the direction separated from the outer peripheries of the rollers 52a, 52a and moved to the retract position Q.
