POLYARYLENE SULFIDE-BASED POROUS MEMBRANE AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide-based porous membrane having a regularly continuous porous structure as a porous membrane excellent in heat resistance and chemical resistance, and to provide a production process therefor.

SOLUTION: The polyarylene sulfide-based porous membrane has a regularly continuous porous structure having a structural period of ≥0.01 μm and ≤10 μm in the central part of the membrane. The regularly continuous porous structure is formed by removing a resin component (A) from a polymer alloy including at least two resin component resins formed by phase separation due to spinodal decomposition induced in the polymerization of a cyclic oligoarylene sulfide under the presence of the resin component (A) other than polyarylene sulfides.
