<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium that can be intialized and formatted in a photon mode, without degrading the characteristics of a recording film, and to provide a method of manufacturing the medium. <P>SOLUTION: An erasing-type micro-reflector optical recording medium 10 includes a glass substrate 14; an information recording layer 12 consisting of a hologram recording film, capable of recording in the photon mode; a transparent optical film 16; and a UV cover layer 18. The hologram recording film has a thickness range of 150-250 μm, and the transparent optical film 16 has transmittance of ≥95% in its visible light region and has a thickness range of 50-100 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
