PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-filled ferrite carrier that controls a charge amount when used as a developer while keeping the benefits of resin-filled carrier and has good strength and is less deteriorated by aging and has superior durability, and to provide an electrophotographic developer using the resin-filled ferrite carrier. SOLUTION: The resin-filled ferrite carrier for an electrophotographic developer is obtained by filling voids of a porous ferrite core material with a resin, wherein the resin is a silicone resin having a phenyl group.
