PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for evaluation of a transmission line, and a transmission line modeling device, capable of evaluating transmission characteristics of the low-loss transmission line by an evaluation device. SOLUTION: The evaluation method includes: a first step wherein an evaluation signal, generated by a waveform generator based on waveform data stored on a storage device, is input to one end of a transmission line 2 being an object of evaluation; a second step wherein waveform data on an output signal, output from the other end of the transmission line 2, is written to a storage device as new waveform data for generating an evaluation signal by the waveform generator; and a third step wherein a characteristic of the transmission line 2 is evaluated by the evaluation device, based on output signals output from the other end of the transmission line 2 generated by repeatedly executing the first and second steps a predetermined number of times.
