PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve humidification capacity in a humidifier and an air cleaner including a humidification function. SOLUTION: The humidifier includes: a body case 3 having a suction port 1 and an exhaust port 2; and a humidification means 4 provided within the body case 3. The humidification means 4 includes: a water tank 13 storing specific amount of water; a disk-shaped humidification filter 7 having a peripheral edge partially immersed in the water in the water tank 13 all the time; and a rotating means 6 which rotates a humidification filter frame 9 fixing the humidification filter 7 and having an outer periphery with a water supply part 10 and the humidification filter 7. The humidification filter 7 is provided upstream relative to an air blowing means 5 for sending air from the suction port 1 to the exhaust port 2, and a water flow suppressing means 11 is provided between the humidification filter frame 9 and the water tank 13.
