<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program that can stop print without transmitting an instruction for stopping the print to an application unit and that makes a computer function as a printer driver unit capable of shortening time required for stopping print, and a computer having a such printer driver unit. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver, if print is stopped by determination by a printer driver (S120:YES) when an initialization command is called through a GDI (S110), changes a print setting having an influence on processing of the GDI for high speed (S125). Thereby, when a drawing command is transmitted from the GDI to the printer driver, pre-processing to be executed in the GDI is brought into a state to be completed in shorter time. Accordingly, when the printer driver determines to stop print, time required for processing to stop print can be shortened regardless of reception of a print related command from an application without transmitting an instruction of print stop to the application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
