An adhering troche that releases antacid, alginate, bismuth subsalicylate, soluble zinc, such as zinc gluconate, bioactive vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), antibiotic, or anti-viral. A method to combat bacterial effects downstream of the mouth with topically applied xylitol.
