<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display capable of performing display with successful color purity brighter than in an RGB mode and an RGBC mode, closely to primary colors than in a CMY mode, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display, one pixel is composed of subpixels of total four colors, cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), and red (R). The image display includes a substrate, a color filter formed on the substrate, a thin film transistor array formed on the color filter, and a display medium formed on the thin film transistor array, and a counter electrode formed on the display medium, wherein the image display is either a reflective display or a transflective display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
