PURPOSE:To enable a car to start by judging the failure of an accelerator switch from said accelerator switch, which does not operate, and the operating signal of an accelerator opening switch, and allowing a current for clutch, which is proportionate to an engine speed, to flow based on said judgment. CONSTITUTION:Should an accelerator switch 51 fail on starting a car, an L- level signal under an accelerator released condition is outputted, causing an accelerator opening switch 52 to be turned off. An H-level signal, which was inverted through an inverter 65 in an accelerator switch failure judging circuit 64, is inputted in a NAND gate 67. A trigger pulse is inputted in the NAND gate 67 due to a signal at the time of switchover of the accelerator opening switch 52, causing the output side of an F-F 66 to be turned to an H level, which is judged an accelerator stepped-on mode, the H-level signal is inputted in an AND gate 61 instead of the accelerator switch 51, and a current for clutch is controlled by means of a duty signal from a comparator 58, enabling a car to start. |
