PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system which makes it easy to see the display content of a display device housed in a meter. SOLUTION: A navigation control circuit 2 makes part (shift position, traveling distance, etc.) of vehicle information be displayed in a second area of the display device 9 housed in the meter for indicating the vehicle information ordinarily. When guiding a route, the circuit displays route guidance information (distance to the next branching point, branch direction, etc.) in the second area of the display device 9.
