<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of conventional heat-transfer tube monitoring device that which transfer tube bundle is closed or on which transfer tube bundle dust adhesion is proceeding in a heat exchanger cannot be determined during operation of the heat exchanger, if the heat exchanger is composed of combined multiple-stage heat-transfer tube bundles. <P>SOLUTION: A heat-transfer tube monitoring device for use in a heat exchanger including multiple-stage heat transfer tube bundles 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b spaced apart from each other in a flow direction of exhaust gas comprises a differential pressure detecting means for detecting a differential pressure between upstream and downstream for each of the heat-transfer tube bundles.
