METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, BACKLIGHT DEVICE, AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light guide plate which responds to optical characteristics suitable for any shape and configuration even of a large-size light guide plate and of which cycle time is shortened.

SOLUTION: This is a method for manufacturing a light guide plate in which light is made to enter from a side face of a light guide plate substrate and diffusion light generated by reflecting dots of concave shape formed on one main face and the other main face is led out from the main face. The reflecting dots are formed in a prescribed range of the one main face and the other main face of the light guide plate substrate, and the reflecting dots are formed respectively on the light guide plate substrate with the depth of the reflecting dots identical so that they may not identically face each other along two directions crossing at right angles or one direction on the surface of one main face and the other main face.
