<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry device capable of preventing a mobile device from being carelessly locked in while securing the safety of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The keyless entry device performs control for operating a door lock of the vehicle based on the result of determining the position of the mobile device by a passive method. At this time, the mobile device is searched giving priority to the outside of the vehicle (S10), and if the mobile device does not exist outside the vehicle (S12: No), a search inside the vehicle is made (S14). Even when determining that the mobile device is outside the vehicle (S12: Yes), a search outside the vehicle is continued (S18), and if the mobile device does not exist outside the vehicle (S20: No), the search inside the vehicle is made (S22).
