<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide which allows light to be used for positioning both a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device and is free from an increase in width of a substrate, and to provide an optical wiring member, and a method of mounting an optical device on the optical wiring member. <P>SOLUTION: An optical wiring member 5 is formed by disposing, on a substrate 1 having a plurality of light-emitting devices 18 and a plurality of light-receiving devices 19 mounted thereon, an optical waveguide which includes a plurality of optical waveguide cores 3 for transmission of light for communication between the light-emitting devices and the light-receiving devices and an optical waveguide clad 2. When the light-emitting devices and the light-receiving devices are mounted on the optical wiring member 5, the optical waveguide has been equipped with a position-aligning light introduction portion 14 for introducing position-aligning light to the optical waveguide cores 3, and by using, as a target light, the position-aligning light that is introduced to the optical waveguide cores 3 for communication from the position-aligning light introduction portion 14 and is emitted from the substrate 1, at least either the light-emitting device 18 or the light-receiving device 19 can be positioned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
